The Epstein files don't just document crimes. They document a religion. Three and a half million pages prove what the secular world can't name and the church won't acknowledge: organized demon worship operating at the highest levels of global power. Temple structures with Babylonian symbols. Allegations of ritualistic sacrifice. A transhumanist breeding program to create superior humans. FBI memos claiming Mossad blackmail operations. Victims treated as goyim, cattle for the offering. And through it all, the deafening silence of American evangelicalism. When the powerful serve ancient gods through modern mechanisms, when intelligence agencies protect the operation, when your theology won't let you investigate because of which nation might be implicated, you don't have discernment; you have idolatry. The millstone is coming. Which side will you choose?
Earlier today I gave you the facts about the Epstein file dump, and called “the what.” That’s three and a half million pages of emails, FBI memos, victim statements, photographs, and investigative records that prove Jeffrey Epstein ran a global child trafficking operation with governmental protection, intelligence agency involvement, and billions in funding. Just the facts, no spin, maximum darkness.
Now we’re doing the “so what.” And that is the Christian response to documented evil operating at the highest levels of global power. And brother, if you came here expecting some milquetoast “we should pray about this” conclusion, you accidentally clicked on the wrong Substack. Don’t get me wrong, we should definitely pray about it. But you’re going to get more than that.
The media will tell you the Epstein files document child trafficking. They’re not wrong, but they’re not right either. What 3.5 million pages actually document is something far older and far darker than a criminal enterprise. They document organized worship. Not the worship of a person or even an ideology, but the worship of depravity itself.
The secular world has no category for this because they’ve spent centuries pretending the spiritual realm doesn’t exist. Fair enough. They’re pagans operating on pagan assumptions, so when they see ritualistic abuse in temple structures adorned with ancient symbols, they shrug and call it “eccentric billionaire behavior.” Can’t blame a blind man for not seeing.
But Christians have no such excuse. We claim to believe in principalities and powers. We claim to believe in spiritual warfare. We claim to believe that demons are real, active, and strategic. So when 3.5 million pages land on our laps documenting systematic evil among the global elite, complete with (1) actual temple structures, (2) occult symbols, (3) allegations of ritualistic sacrifice, and (4) a transhumanist breeding program designed to create a superior race, our response shouldn’t be shocked silence.
It should be “of course.” Of course this is happening. Of course evil concentrates at the top. Of course the old gods are still being worshiped. Of course powerful men build altars to demons and offer children as tribute. What else would fallen humanity with unlimited resources and zero accountability do? Open a chain of frozen yogurt shops?
The Epstein files aren’t revealing anything new about the nature of evil. They’re just proving what Scripture already told us: the powers of darkness concentrate in high places, false religion demands blood sacrifice, and those who try to become gods always target the image of God in the most defenseless.
So let’s talk about what the Christian response should be. Not the response we’re getting from Big Evangelicalism, which so far has been radio silence punctuated by nervous coughing. But the response we should be giving if we actually believed our own theology.
EVIL CONCENTRATES AT THE TOP AND IT’S NOT RANDOM
You’ll hear people say the Epstein files prove that wealth corrupts, that power enables vice, that rich people can afford to indulge darker fantasies than the rest of us. All true, but insufficient. Like saying the Titanic had a moisture problem. Technically accurate, catastrophically incomplete.
The concentration of extreme evil among the global elite isn’t merely a function of opportunity. It’s a function of spiritual reality. Demons don’t distribute themselves democratically across the human population like some kind of hellish census. They’re strategic. They concentrate where earthly power concentrates because they want to rule the world through those who already do.
This is why Epstein’s network included royalty, presidents, prime ministers, intelligence operatives, tech titans, scientific elite, and Harvard professors. The pattern isn’t random. Demons don’t waste time possessing homeless people in Des Moines. No offense to Des Moines, but the principalities have bigger fish to fry. They target those who can shape nations, move markets, influence millions, and protect each other from prosecution.
The files prove something Christians should already know: the world’s power structures aren’t neutral. They’re occupied territory. Ephesians 6:12 isn’t poetic language, it’s descriptive geography. Paul said we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers in high places. Not “high places” like mountain peaks. High places like corner offices, intelligence agencies, royal palaces, and private islands with temple structures.
And what happened on Epstein’s island wasn’t happening despite these people’s power. It was happening because of their power. The principalities demanded tribute, and tribute was paid. In children. Systematically. For decades. With cameras rolling for blackmail leverage.
Evil is strategic, not egalitarian. And the Epstein files document the strategy in exhausting detail.
THE OLD GODS NEVER LEFT THEY JUST REBRANDED
Here’s where things get uncomfortable for people who like their Christianity sanitized and their worldview mechanistic. That blue-striped temple on Little Saint James wasn’t decorative. Multiple victims described it in testimony. Drone footage confirmed its existence. We’ve all seen photos. FBI documents reference occult and ritualistic elements happening in it and beneath it.;,/. The secular media treats this like a billionaire’s eccentric architectural taste, like Epstein just really vibed with ancient Mediterranean aesthetics.
Christians should know better.
The temple architecture echoes Babylonian ziggurats, stepped pyramids dedicated to gods like Marduk and Ishtar. Not metaphorical gods. Not symbols of human psychological projection. Actual principalities that Scripture identifies as demons masquerading as deities. The symbols matter: owls connected to Lilith in Babylonian demonology, sundials indicating celestial worship, zodiac markings documented in FBI photos from inside the structure. These aren’t random rich guy quirks. They’re religious iconography.
And the gods themselves have a pattern. A very specific, very dark pattern. Ishtar, goddess of sex, war, and fertility, whose temple cults featured qadishtu, sacred prostitutes whose rituals involved coercion and exploitation. Lamashtu, a demoness who preyed specifically on children and infants, described in ancient texts as snatching babies from wombs and nursing them with poison. Molech, who demanded child sacrifice in fire. Nergal, god of plague and death, whose domain included violence against the young.
Now look at what the Epstein files actually allege. Children kept in a stall so men could look at them, like livestock offerings. Ritualistic abuse in temple-like structures, echoing sacred prostitution. Allegations of infant sacrifice and dismemberment, Molech worship updated for the 21st century. Systematic torture documented in emails, “I loved the torture video,” straight out of Nergal’s playbook.
This isn’t coincidence. This is coherence. The acts match the ancient cultic practices of the very gods whose symbols adorned Epstein’s properties.
Scripture tells us that when people sacrifice to gods other than Yahweh, they’re sacrificing to demons. First Corinthians 10:20, not Revelation fan fiction. The old gods of Mesopotamia didn’t die. They didn’t retire to some demonic Florida and spend their days playing shuffleboard. They’re still receiving worship, they’ve just outsourced it to billionaires with private islands instead of priests with temple complexes.
Same principalities, different property values.
The secular world will never connect these dots because they don’t believe the dots exist. Fair enough, they’re operating on naturalistic assumptions. But when Christians see temple structures, ancient religious symbols, ritualistic abuse allegations, and systematic child sacrifice documented in FBI memos and still treat it like a crime story instead of a spiritual warfare operation, we’re not being rational. We’re being cowards.
Call it what it is: demon worship. Industrial scale. Governmental protection. Intelligence agency involvement. The powers of darkness operating through the powers that be.
TRANSHUMANISM AS TOWER OF BABEL 2.0
But Epstein’s religion had a second component beyond the ancient gods. He was a devotee of transhumanism, the belief that technology can elevate humanity beyond our God-designed limitations. This isn’t a separate religion from the Mesopotamian worship. It’s the same religion. It’s always been the same religion since a serpent told a woman “you will be like God.”
Genesis 3, the original lie: you can transcend your created nature and become divine. Genesis 6, the Nephilim, demons creating a hybrid race to corrupt the image of God. Genesis 11, Babel, “let us make a name for ourselves” by building a tower to heaven and supplanting the Creator. Two thousand twenty-six, Epstein’s eugenics program, “seeding the human race” with superior DNA through a systematic breeding operation.
The media portrays this as eccentric billionaire fantasies, like Epstein was just a weird rich guy playing out science fiction scenarios because he could afford the props. But Christians should recognize what this actually is: an attempt to overthrow God’s created order.
Look at what the files document. Plans to impregnate up to 20 women simultaneously at Zorro Ranch in New Mexico. An obsession with seeding his genetics across the population because he believed his DNA was superior. Surrounding himself with geneticists, AI researchers, evolutionary biologists, creating his own priestly caste of techno-wizards. Thirty million dollars to Harvard’s Program for Evolutionary Dynamics. Funding for OpenCog, artificial general intelligence research. Cryonics plans to preserve his head and penis for future revival, because apparently immortality requires specific anatomical priorities.
Epstein wasn’t just trafficking children for sexual gratification, though that happened and was monstrous. He was trafficking them for a breeding program designed to create a superior race seeded by his genetics. This is eugenics. This is Nephilim logic. This is Babel.
And here’s the thing about Babel that makes it relevant: God didn’t scatter humanity because their tower was tall. He scattered them because, as He said, “nothing they propose to do will now be impossible for them.” The tower was dangerous not because of its height but because of what unified humanity pursuing godhood could accomplish. So God came down to see their grand achievement, the implication being absolutely devastating, they thought they were reaching heaven but God had to squint to see it, and then He scattered them.
Epstein’s network represents the same threat, just reassembled with modern components. Global reach spanning multiple continents. Unified purpose, the elite protecting each other through blackmail and institutional capture. Technological capability including AI, genetic engineering, cryonics, surveillance systems. Governmental protection through intelligence agencies and legal immunity. One language uniting them all: wealth.
This is Babel reassembled. The tower is being rebuilt. And this time it’s not made of bricks and bitumen. It’s made of biotech, blackmail, and bodies.
The secular media will never frame it this way because they think transhumanism is just futurism, optimistic nerds dreaming about living forever and merging with machines. But Scripture-literate Christians should recognize the pattern immediately. Every attempt to transcend God-designed humanity, whether through eating forbidden fruit or mating with demons or building towers or breeding superior genetics, ends the same way: God comes down and destroys it.
Not because He’s threatened. Because He’s God. And humans don’t get to become gods no matter how many scientists they hire or how many children they sacrifice to the project.
THE CHRISTIAN RESPONSE THEY’RE NOT GIVING
So what should the Christian response be to 3.5 million pages documenting organized evil at the highest levels of global power, complete with temple worship, demon-god symbolism, ritualistic abuse, and a transhumanist breeding program? Here’s what Big Evangelicalism has offered so far: silence.
Not thoughtful silence. Not strategic silence. Not “we’re investigating before we speak” silence. Just silence. The kind of silence that happens when institutions realize speaking would cost them something they’re not willing to pay.
The Gospel Coalition hasn’t issued a statement. The Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission is apparently busy with other priorities. The Southern Baptist Convention Executive Committee has better things to do. The PCA General Assembly must have missed the memo. These are the same institutions that produce white papers on critical race theory, lengthy responses to pronoun debates, coordinated campaigns against Disney movies, and emergency statements when a Christian celebrity says something vaguely troubling about hell.
But three and a half million pages documenting industrial-scale child trafficking by global elites, complete with governmental protection, intelligence agency involvement, allegations of ritual sacrifice, and a eugenics breeding program? Apparently that doesn’t clear the bar for institutional commentary.
Why? Let’s not be naive. Speaking costs something. It costs access. It costs respectability. It costs seats at tables with powerful people. It costs the illusion that evangelical institutions are serious players in American power structures. And for Big Evangelicalism, those costs are too high.
So here’s what Christians must acknowledge if we’re going to respond faithfully instead of institutionally.
ONE EVIL RUNS AMOK AMONG THE POWERFUL
This isn’t conspiracy theory. It’s documented reality. The Epstein files prove that the global elite operate under different rules, engage in systematic evil, face minimal consequences, and protect each other through blackmail and institutional capture. Christians who claim to believe in the fall, total depravity, and the reality of spiritual warfare should be the least surprised by these revelations.
But instead, evangelical leadership acts shocked when confronted with evidence of systematic evil, as if they’ve never read Romans 3 or Ephesians 6 or literally any book of the Bible. The proper Christian response isn’t “I can’t believe this happened.” It’s “Of course this happened. Fallen humanity with unlimited resources and no accountability will always trend toward maximum evil. What did you expect? A bake sale?”
The depravity of man isn’t a doctrine we’re supposed to affirm in systematic theology class and then forget when it shows up in FBI documents. It’s the operating assumption of Christian anthropology. Humans, left to themselves with power and wealth and no restraint, don’t spontaneously become more moral. They become monsters. Scripture says this. History confirms it. The Epstein files document it in three and a half million pages.
Stop being surprised. Start being consistent.
PRINCIPALITIES AND POWERS ARE REAL AND CONCENTRATE AT THE TOP
We really need to stop spiritualizing Ephesians 6:12. Paul wasn’t being metaphorical when he said we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers in high places. He wasn’t employing poetic license. He was describing reality. There are actual demonic entities that concentrate their attention and influence where earthly power concentrates.
The Epstein network proves the mechanism: blackmail creates control, control creates power, power attracts demons, demons demand worship, worship requires victims. It’s a cycle as old as Babylon and as current as last week’s file dump.
This is why the same pattern appears across cultures and centuries. Temple prostitution in ancient Babylon. Elite pedophilia in Rome. Royal trafficking in Victorian England. Epstein’s island in the 21st century. Different names, same demons, same demands. The principalities don’t change their tactics because the tactics work.
And they work best at the top because that’s where human power is most concentrated, where protection is most complete, where consequences are most absent. A demon possessing a middle manager in Tulsa can do some damage. A demon influencing a prince, a president, a prime minister, an intelligence chief? That’s strategic victory.
The files document this reality in exhausting detail. Victims testifying about ritualistic elements. Temple structures with religious symbols. Systematic abuse protected by the most powerful institutions on earth. FBI memos referencing occult practices. This isn’t criminal enterprise. This is spiritual warfare documented by federal investigators.
Christians need to stop treating this like a crime story and start treating it like what it is: proof that the powers of darkness operate through the powers that be.
FALSE RELIGION MUST BE RECOGNIZED AND NAMED
The church spent decades training Christians to recognize New Age spirituality and Eastern mysticism. We can identify a Hindu mantra or Buddhist meditation from a mile away. We built entire apologetics ministries to warn people about yoga and transcendental meditation and Oprah’s latest guru.
But put the same demonic worship in a lab coat or a temple with a golden dome, and suddenly Christians go blind. Put it in a TED Talk about artificial intelligence and life extension, and we treat it like harmless futurism. Put it on a private island with a blue-striped ziggurat and call the owner a financier instead of a priest, and evangelical leaders suddenly can’t find their discernment glasses.
This is pathetic.
Transhumanism is a religion. It has doctrines, technological transcendence and human enhancement. It has eschatology, the Singularity when AI surpasses human intelligence and transforms existence. It has a salvation narrative, defeating death through technology. It has a priesthood, Silicon Valley futurists and tech billionaires. It has rituals, biohacking and genetic modification. It has sacred texts, Kurzweil and Musk and Harari.
And the Epstein files prove it merges seamlessly with ancient pagan worship. The same people funding AI research were funding temple construction. The same network pursuing genetic superiority through breeding programs was engaging in ritualistic abuse documented by victims and investigators. This isn’t coincidence. This is convergence. All false religion ultimately serves the same principalities, whether you call them Ishtar and Molech or Progress and Evolution.
The tower of Babel wasn’t neutral architecture. It was religious rebellion. And Epstein’s operation wasn’t neutral crime. It was religious ritual serving demonic powers through technological means and ancient practices simultaneously.
Christians who can’t recognize this aren’t being rational. They’re being illiterate. Theologically illiterate.
THE ISRAEL CONNECTION CANNOT BE IGNORED
And here’s where American evangelicalism faces its most uncomfortable reckoning. The Epstein files contain extensive evidence of Israeli intelligence involvement. Not speculation. Not antisemitic conspiracy theory. Evidence. Documented. In FBI memos and victim testimony and travel records and financial relationships.
A 2020 FBI memo states that a confidential human source became convinced Epstein was a co-opted Mossad agent based on prior FBI reporting and Epstein’s elite access to powerful Americans. The memo alleges that attorney Alan Dershowitz told federal prosecutor Alex Acosta that Epstein belonged to intelligence. The memo further claims that Dershowitz himself had been co-opted by Mossad.
The files document extensive relationships between Epstein and Israeli political elite: Ehud Barak dozens of times, Ehud Olmert, Shimon Peres who allegedly introduced Barak to Epstein in 2003. They show a fake Austrian passport found in Epstein’s safe with his photo, a different name, and entrance stamps from France, Spain, the United Kingdom, and Saudi Arabia. They document financial ties to Les Wexner, a major donor to Jewish and Israeli causes who somehow trusted a college dropout with his entire fortune and gave him power of attorney over everything.
We don’t have to prove causation. The correlation alone demands investigation. But Christian Zionism has created a theological environment where investigating Israeli intelligence involvement in child trafficking feels like apostasy. That’s not theology. That’s idolatry.
If this was Russian intelligence, evangelical leaders would be demanding Congressional hearings, special prosecutors, and full transparency. If this was Chinese intelligence, we’d have emergency conferences on foreign influence and national security. If this was Iranian intelligence, we’d be hearing sermons about the clash of civilizations and spiritual warfare against Islam.
But because the allegations implicate Israel, suddenly Christian Zionism requires silence. Suddenly investigating becomes antisemitism. Suddenly asking questions becomes betrayal of our Judeo-Christian heritage, whatever that means.
If you believe God has a special plan for Israel, and I’m not here to debate eschatology (at the moment), that doesn’t mean Israeli intelligence agencies are exempt from investigation when they’re implicated in child trafficking. Loving Israel doesn’t mean protecting Mossad blackmail operations. Supporting the Jewish people doesn’t mean ignoring evidence of systematic evil when it comes from Tel Aviv instead of Tehran.
The question isn’t whether Israel can do wrong. Of course it can, it’s a nation of fallen humans operating in a fallen world with fallen institutions. The question is whether your theology allows you to investigate when they do. If the answer is no, you don’t have biblical theology. You have ethnic idolatry wearing a Christian label.
And here’s what should terrify Dispensationalists specifically: if Epstein was running a blackmail operation for Israeli intelligence, and if that operation targeted American political and financial elite, how many current American leaders are compromised? How much evangelical support for Israeli policy is driven by genuine theological conviction versus fear of exposure? What happens to your church, your denomination, your ministry if the blackmail tapes surface and your favorite politician or donor or conference speaker is on them?
These aren’t conspiracy questions. These are counterintelligence questions. And the evangelical refusal to ask them reveals which kingdom we’re actually protecting.
HE GODS AND GOYIM OF JEFFREY EPSTEIN
The title of this piece isn’t just alliteration, though it does sound fantastic. It’s theological accuracy. Epstein’s worldview operated on a two-tiered system that any student of ancient paganism would recognize immediately: the gods above, the goyim below, and a priestly class in the middle managing the machinery.
Goyim, for those unfamiliar, is the Hebrew term for non-Jews, literally meaning “nations” or “peoples.” In common usage it’s relatively neutral, just a descriptor. But in Epstein’s documented communications, it carried the weight of contempt. The files contain multiple instances of Epstein using “goyim” not as neutral identification but as dismissive categorization. These were the cattle. The expendable. The ones who existed to serve, to be used, to be offered.
In one email exchange, Epstein casually refers to “the goyim” in the context of people who could be manipulated without consequence. In another, discussing potential legal exposure, he expresses confidence that “goyim prosecutors” wouldn’t understand the complexity of his financial arrangements. The condescension drips off the page. These weren’t people operating on his level. They were lesser beings, intellectually inferior, spiritually blind, useful only insofar as they could be exploited or controlled.
