Fighting Over A Dead Man's Bones
Satan and Michael went to war over Moses' bones. There's a lesson here in the midst of it.
“Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.”

Beloved, in the dim mists of sacred history, we glimpse a strange and solemn scene: the archangel Michael, radiant with celestial glory, locked in dispute with the prince of darkness over the lifeless body of Moses, God’s faithful servant. What curious contention is this? Why should Satan, the adversary of all that is holy, crave the bones of the lawgiver? Scholars ponder, suggesting Satan sought to defile Moses’ remains, to incite idolatry among God’s people, or to challenge the Almighty’s claim over His prophet.
